Bramerton tower mill stood on Mill Hill, which was part of the Common and was built of brick c.1854. The mill had two pairs of patent sails and drove two pairs of French burr stones. One pair was 4' 4" and the other 4' 6".

Freehold Brick Tower Wind Mill, Dwelling House & land at Bramerton. Mr. Wilde is instructed to sell by Auction in early part of next month.
All that recently & substantially erected brick Tower Windmill with patent sails, 2 pairs of French stones. Double Dwelling House & half an acre of land on BRAMERTON COMMON, occupied by Robert Everson.

Also a double Dwelling House & half an acre of Land all situate on Bramerton Common & occupied by John Diggens who is under notice to quit at Michaelmas next.

Messrs. SPELMAN have received instructions to Sell by Auction on Saturday July 2, 1870 at 12 for 1 o'c at the Rampant Horse Inn, Norwich.
A Brick TOWER WINDMILL with a capital Double Cottage occupied by Mr. William Rogers at the annual rent of £30. There is also a shed & large garden containing altogether about Half an acre. Freehold. The Mill drives 2 pairs of stones, has patent sails, 2 nearly new & stands well for wind.
