Burnham Thorpe postmill had a buck that was 21ft by 11ft and ran a single pair of French burr stones and a flour mill. A bake office was also run from the premises.

A Capital WINDMILL situate at Burnham Thorpe being a very populous part of the county of Norfolk & near the seaport towns of Wells, Burnham Overy & Brancaster & of which immediate possession may be had.
The length of the mill is 21 feet & the width 11 feet, with French Stones, Sails, Flour Mill & Going Gears complete.
The Mill will be sold either with or without the Land whereon it stands containing about half an acre and the purchaser may be accommodated with a dwelling house & Baking office at a fair rent if desired.
The Mill may be viewed on application to Mr. Philip Humphrey of Burnham Thorpe, the proprietor of whom or of Mr. Stokes at Fakenham further particulars & price may be had.

The Mill is to be taken down & removed at the expence of the purchaser & may be viewed on application at Mrs. Humphrey’s. All persons having any demand on the estate & effects of the said Mr. Philip Humphrey are requested to send a statement thereof addressed to the Executors at Mr. Humphrey’s, Burnham Thorpe.
