Gt Hockham smockmill stood on a brick walled base. The mill used 2 pairs of common sails to power 2 pairs of French burr stones of large dimensions, although provision had been made for 4 pairs. Two flour mills were also in use. In 1809 a bake office was being run on the premises. |
