Kenninghall had a postmill working in the latter part of the 1200s.


In 1276 it was held in chief of the king by the service of butler, as aforesaid & had certain capital messuage called Easthall & another called a grainge with a ruininous dove house & 400 acres of land 100 of which are arable & yearly worth £10 besides 18 acres of meadow worth 18d. each acre, a windmill let for 13s. 4d., a large park ...
