Lovers Lane postmill |
Ludham Lovers Lane post windmill stood on the south side of Lovers Lane on the south side of the village. The mill had a roundhouse and ran two pairs of French burr stones, a flour mill and a jumper. In the 1870s Lovers Lane was known as Lovick's Lane or Mill Lane. Before being destroyed by a gale in 1874, the mill was known as the Black Mill. |
