Paston smockmill was a small mill situated about 1¾ miles to the south of Paston_Stow_Hill_towermill. The mill used a single pair of 4ft 8ins stones driven by a 22in. stone nut. |
Other mill machinery included 33 ft long stocks set on a 13 ft windshaft, a 5ft 10ins. head wheel, a 6ft 6ins spur wheel, and a 3ft 6ins wallower. |
