Reedham postmill |
c.1920
|
Reedham post windmill stood on the southwest side of the village. The mill buck with a leanto porch was set on a square boarded roundhouse that had the corners cut off, effectively making it 8 sided. The inner pair of sails were two common sails and the outer pair were double shuttered, each with 7 bays of 3 shutters and 1 bay of 2 shutters. An 8 bladed fantail and its carriage were set on a tailpole with tandem cartwheels. |
