Salhouse post windmill stood on Mill Hill to the northeast side of the village. The mill had a roundhouse and drove two pairs of stones. |

Although by no means certain, it seems to be the most logical option that Benjamin Bowen was occupying Salhouse towermill in 1851 before moving to the postmill by 1853. |
