Mill Lane postmill was an open trestle mill and was one of four mills in Mill Lane, it was the most easterly and stood on the south side of the lane adjacent to the Buttlands. The mill was quite small and usewd one pair of patent sails and one pair of common sails to drive a single pair of 4 ft. 10 ins. French burr stones. |
