The Stoke Ferry Road mill at Wereham stood on the north side of the road to the southeast of the village. It has been assumed here that the mill was a postmill as most of the evidence points that way, however this is not proven.

The mill used patent sails to power two pairs of French burr stones and was turned to wind with a fantail.
