Wereham
Stoke Ferry Road postmill |
The Stoke Ferry Road mill at Wereham stood on the north side of the road to the southeast of the village. It has been assumed here that the mill was a postmill as most of the evidence points that way, however this is not proven.
|
The mill used patent sails to power two pairs of French burr stones and was turned to wind with a fantail. |
