Wymondham North Field towermill was built on the site of an earlier postmill. The mill had a fantail and common sails set on a cast iron windshaft that powered a single pair of 4 ft. 6 ins. stones and a flour mill. |

All that substantial brick tower WIND-MILL which turns herself into the wind, pair of 4 feet 6 stones, flour mill and going geers, now in the occupation of Samuel Bransbury. Likewise a neat brick and tiled Dwelling house, stable and cart lodge and one acre of Land. The Mill and house were lately built and no pains or expence spared to make them convenient for business and accommodating a family. The situation is extremely good for business.
