Dickleburgh Langmere postmill had a 19ft by 11ft 6ins buck and was probably an open trestle mill. The common sails drove a single pair of 4ft 10ins French burr stones and a flour mill with gearing for a second set of stones.

To be Sold by Auction By Wm. Sharman On Thursday 14 June 1804 At the Crown Inn, Dickleburgh, Norfolk, between the hours of 3 & 5 in the afternoon. A new & substantial POST WINDMILL, built only two years, situated in Langmere near Harleston, in the county aforesaid, in the occupation of Mr. John Cock, the proprietor, 19 ft. by 11 ft. 6 ins. draws 10 yards of cloth, 10 feet head wheel, pair of French Stones, 4 ft. 10 ins., full sized flour mill & all going geers for another pair of stones; the sail cloths, flour cloths, scales & weights to be included in the purchase. She must be taken away on or before the 11th October next. N.B. The reason why Mr. Cock sells her is he has taken a large farm at a distance.
