Pulham St. Mary
western postmill |
Pulham St Mary the Virgin had three windmills working in the 1800s - a northern_postmill, a western postmill and a southern_smockmill. Nearby was the larger village of Pulham Market that was also known as Pulham St Mary Magdalene in the 1800s. |
In a will dated 19th January, 1807 William Garland left all his personal estate to his wife Susan. The Executor was Robert Shildrake of Pulham St. Mary the Virgin. The will was proved at Norwich on 4th March 1807 and no mention was made of a windmill. |
